How's the bike treating you.... any updates? Changes? I'm about to start my build. Just picked up an Open frame also.

hi! quite well - I am just after first test rides! Project completed at ca. 7,7kg of total weight...

Any ideas to lower handlebar by 2-3cm? It's quite to high for easy terrain...

Couldn't you just get a stem with a steeper angle? Doesn't Zipp make one (I know, it looks like you like ENVE, but IMHO position comes first)?

-17* stem with be 35mm lower (if enve is +6)
negative rise bar will lower a bit more -5mm

Thank You for this tool, from -6 to -17 on 90mm long stem, it seems ca. 17mm to be gained - only and even... (Definitelly not 35mm! :) )
Pity that Enve Does not have this -17 version..

What would be better for 90kg rider? Extralite or Mcfk? Zipp is definitelly to heavy...

Another, quite brave option, is new upper Lefty Clamp - mounted ca 2cm lower than oryginal...
What do think?

And last but not least - will the travel change from 100 to 90 influence something?

You can counter the quicker steering from 100 to 90 by getting a shorter bar, the 10mm won't be that drastic of a change, very minimal at best.

Customising the fork could definitely make things much easier for you. Having said that, if you don't feel like going to those extremes, the Syntace Flatforce may help you?

Ritchey also make a 25 degree stem:

The lefty has travel reducer clips on the top of the dampening cartridge adding a travel reducers does not effect axle to crown height or lower the front end. I was struggling with a tall front end on my lefty and asked the Cdale rep when he was doing the demo on lefty service the same question. They only seem it only limits travel not lower AC height.
