A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

I've always used a Bontrager Speed/Cadence Sensor (the rubber strapped quick release type). However since upgrading to a BMC SLR02 frame I have been unable to fit it over the massive chainstays. The width of the stay means that the strap pops off the sensor when stretched.

Does anyone have any experience with this on BMC frames or can offer alternative solutions?

I have a Motorola branded one qith the same rubber strap. After it felt once, i decided to zip tie it. Check if yours do not have holes for installation with zip ties.

Oh wow, great spot. I didn't notice those tiny holes! Thanks!
