What made it extra exciting was I slashed my tire sidewall on the Melba Hwy 66 km from home. Thank god for Park Tool Tire boots. Managed to limp back home to Hurstbridge. As the sidewall cut was causing noticeable vibrations above 40 km/h I decided to catch the train home.
