Sweet ride. How do you like the fulcrum's?

Hi,
the nicest of the Bianchi-framesets. great build (except crankset), the Thomson-parts go perfect with the Frame! nevertheless i would prefer non-deep-wheelset, something like fulcrum racing or mavic r-sys, or a classical wheelset.
why changing saddle? not satisfied with the concor?

Sempre means 'donkey' in Italian. And you have to grow a beard before they let you buy one.

The Fulcrums are awesome. I was surprised by how well they felt. I was expecting a big difference but didn't have a clue seeing how these are my first set of high end wheels. I looked at the FFWD wheels but I just couldn't beat the Fulcrums for what I had to pay for them (if the FFWD would beat them anyways). I'm changing the saddle cause it's just not as comfortable as the Selle Italia SLR I borrowed for a week, so the Kit Carbino is what I'm leaning towards.

Yeah, and in English Valbrona means 'cannot use a dictionary'. According to the good folks at Google translate: Donkey = Asino and Sempre = Always. As for facial hair, let's leave that discussion for http://www.beardboard.com

I think the bike looks nice with either set of wheels.

Good choice upgrading the stem and post - as well matching as the supplied ones are, they weigh a ton!

Team mates of mine were debating doing like you have with the hoods. Great to see what it looks like in the flesh.

Yep, nice looking bikes, +1 on the black chainrings though. Also some longer whiter socks for you ;)

I like my Thomson Masterpiece a lot. It's a really cool machined piece and is really light too. I also like the kink back instead of the traditional set back post.

As for the cranks, I'm wanting to get rid of the compact and go to standard rings and possibly a little stiffer too. But picking a new set has been pretty hard to actually do. I've been thinking of the Ultegra 6800s since the rest of my group is Ultegra. Any suggestions?

Thomson make great stuff.

For mountain bikers ;)

Cranks wise, Ultegra would be fine. But how about the new Rotor cranks? These might match quite well.
