Here's my CAAD9

Image

A bitser cobbled together from secondhand parts except for the Pro Lite Bracciano wheels, and the cranks, chain and cassette.

No idea what it weighs. Anyone care to hazard a rough guess?

60cm frame. Full 6700 groupset, C2 seatpost and stem, 1400g wheelset, and Spesh Romin Pro saddle and Speedplay Zero cromo spindle pedals on it now (bith different to photo). FSA carbon bars, GP4000s tyres.

I'm amazed at how comfortable it rides.

Thank you all!

Taped the black bits, cleaned the grey area with acetone and gave it 4-6 thin layers of black spray paint. Was quite easy.

Looks great! If you could just turn down the bars a little so that the drops sit parallel with the top tube it would look even better I think :)

Also, how do you like the GP4000S II tires? And did you weigh them?

Can't really feel any difference between the "old" GP4000s's and the new one, but they are the only tires i'll use.

I love that EVO also, however I have one close to it and love mine also. It looks like you moved from the FSA seat post and stem. Was it weight or jut too much matching.
Let's finish the ride with a 20% grade.

I actually bought it as just a frame set and the Zipp stuff is what I had from my old bike.
