Assuming shipping is to the U.S.

Skewers - 36 g - J&R Ti 36 g for $35 here
Stem - 102 g - 100 mm Kalloy Uno AL 7050 for $32 here (bolts are steel, so can be tuned with Ti bolts for around $17)
Headset Top Cap & Wedge - 13.5 g - Superlight eXotic Carbon Top Cap & Wedge for $26.59 here
Wheelset - 990 g - Far Sports 24 mm tubular carbon FSC24-TM with EDhub for $602 here
Seatpost - 146 g - eXotic Carbon Titanium seatpost for $67 here
Seatpost clamp - 7.5 g - Mr. Ride Alu + Ti bolt for $18.99 here
Handlebars - 180 g - Hylix Ergonova Full Carbon 400 mm for $84 here

Frame will probably be FM-066-SL? They are $630 each w/ shipping from Hong Fu last time I checked. Includes a seatpost and clamp but they might not be very weight weenie.

When I got a quote from Hongfu for the price of the FM066sl a year ago, it was $730 before shipping.

Can anyone confirm that the price is now in fact $630 for a framset? If so I'm going to order one of these sooner than I thought.....

Hey guys ive been trolling the site here for a while but havent posted yet, was mainly fascinated by this guy weeracerweenie who seems to be a bit of a gem!

So basically im looking and have started building a bike im hoping will scrape below 5.5kg with unmodded or very exotic bits. will throw i nice set of wheels on maybe lightweight standards..

Anyway getting to the point, I'm looking for a frameset , sub 900 grams preferably. 56cm. It has to be all black without any colour or ud finish to fit the bill. I was looking at chinese ones from reputable suppliers that look like theyd fit the bill but wondering if anyone has anything else in mind? I was emailing pedalforce about their CG1 frame but because im in ireland, they cant post with usps because of size restrictions so thats as good as out..

Any suggestions welcome. Branded or unbranded, doesnt matter as long as its real subtle. even white writing sprawled on down tube would throw me off. Any suggestions very welcome! thanks in advance,

FM066SL can tick most of the boxes, except the weight of 56cm will not be under 900g but close. Hongfu claims 905g +/- 20g for a 56cm FM066SL.

My most recent budget WW build is based on a 58cm FM066SL(BSA BB), which weighs 940g including FD brazed-on, RD hanger and cable stops.

As of now my bike weighs 5.4kg(inc. pedals & one bottle cage), without exotic parts or custom mods. I have further plans to bring the weight to below 5kg. Here are some pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/91724453@N02/sets/72157642628171634/ :beerchug:

Iplay IP306 is similar weight to FM066SL. In the field of the Chinese open mold frames, these two models seem to be the lightest options so far.

Thanks for that. ive spent the last 20 minutes looking at fm 066 alright. any idea what cost without paint is? including shipping and lets say paypal fee? also any idea what difference is between it and the fm 069? same weight, new design is what it looks like?
Thanks though, it looks like thats probably near best option.
Also when you say its 940grams, is that your own scales yes?

My 56cm FM066SL was 920g with hanger and cable stops. BB30.
The tapered fork was about 360g uncut.

It was about $950 from DengFu with fork, headset, seat post, shipping to California and paypal fee.

I bought my UD frame from Miracle Trade, paid US$620 + 4.5% PayPal fee, shipping cost varies.

My scale showed 939~940 grams, on the other hand "Pina" scale or "Deda" scale would measure ~800 grams I suppose ?

FM069 has a longer top tube and head tube than FM066.
