Not sure I'm totally clear on your question, but I believe you want to know if you can use the freehub body from a Kong on a Mag170... There are a few answers.
First is the year. The kong in recent years has had both blue (17mm) and red (15mm) freehub bodies. The same is true of the Mag. The 170 uses the blue and the 180 uses the red. If both of your hubs are the older red colored version, yes they are exactly the same.
If both of your hubs use the newer blue freehub body then yes you can use a Kong body on a 170, but it will not accept an 11 speed shimano/sram cassette. The Kong body is 10 speed shimano/sram only.

The freehub body will swap fine, but since you've got a campag and are putting on a Shimano 10 you'll need a new end cap and the end cap from the kong will not be the proper one.
The problem is that your 170 hub currently has an axle end cap that works with a Campagnolo freehub body. When you change to the Shimano freehub body you'll need a different axle end cap made for the Shimano freehub body (campag and shimano end caps are not the same). The axle end cap from the Kong hub will not be the right one because it is designed for a frame with 135mm spacing and the 170 is made for 130mm spacing.
