Interesting, informative (and damning) article in The New York Times here:

Oh my god, Lance doped before the period which he admitted to Oprah. Next we'll learn that moose have 4 legs, and other equally startling revelations.

Lance's new house is apparently bigger than his previous: 12,000 sqf vs 7800 sqf but with a smaller yard LOL.

I never took drugs to improve my performance at any time. I will be willing to stick my finger into a polygraph test if anyone with big media pull wants to take issue. If you buy a signed poster now it will not be tarnished later. --Graeme Obree

i feel the fair and accurate title for this article would be 'End of ride for professional cyclists'

Yeah, big shock. :)

One of the interesting things from that article though, is the mention of Dr Max Testa, who is currently the head Dr over at BMC. Still loads of people in the sport that have dodgee as history so it would seem, including apparently some of the medical staff at OPQS too.

And at least one former team mate with a dodgy rep who used to live in the Como area maybe less clean than the squeaky clean image he tries to portray to the media nowadays.

Testa's excuse is "I didn't give it to them. I told them if they were going to use it how to do so safely."

That's no excuse though is it, means he knew what was going on and didn't do anything about it. What's not to say he isn't any longer? Yay omerta!
