Giant TCX SLR 2 (QR front, QR rear)
Quantec CC SLRi Disc (QR front, QR rear)

The alu Giant is also very well priced. I might go for that.
.

Quantec and Giant TCX SLR 2 Disc 2014 have Alloycarbonforks, The Giantframe ist lighter.

Did everyone forget the Specialized Crux? I have mine running Di2 with BB7 now and waiting on the new ST-R785 Shimano Hydro/Di2 Shifters

Looks ok. New colour's not my cup of tea.

I cannot seem to find these.

Can you post a link+picture please?

As far as I know there is no 2014 Cannondale super x disc with internal Di2 cable routing. (There was a 2012 super x with di2 canti) They did show the new synapse carbon disc at euro bike. This might be what he's talking about.

Specialized Crux is good to go. (Not 100% on EPS, as I don't have that... but DA (old and new) works just fine.)

I agree that the Cannondale offering are a bit lacking...they are light however.
(I wonder if they are waiting to come up with a whole new frameset)

Ridley, I believe has a Di2 hydro disc or mechanical frame in their x-night disc. Their x-fire disc too (maybe...I'm not sure on that one).

I could be wrong. :noidea:

Can anyone tell me the actual weight penalty for moving from Canti to hydraulic disc?
Say S-works Crux Canti vs. S-works Crux disc- same build, rims, and tires?

On a Moots Psycho-X RSL, going from permanently fixed (not removable) canti posts to the identical frame with disc post mounts, the total difference going to the new Shimano hydraulic brakes, including added weight on the frame and weight of housings, was 371 grams. That's going from Gore Ride-on canti cables and TRP Euro-X magnesium brakes and 9070 Di2 levers.

When you do your calculations you want to consider the brake mounts, offset by removal of two brake hangars, different weights of cables versus hose (and different lengths required), differences in the hardware itself, and braze-ons for one or the other. Mine was Di2 on both bikes, so the shifter levers weren't a big contributor to the difference. I helped build a team mate's bike with SRAM Red hydraulic, and the difference in weight was a good bit greater. Choice of brake calipers also makes a difference. And don't forget the rotors. I'm on six-bolt mounts so I can't use some of the newest Shimano ones, but there's quite a bit of range in rotor weight. And of course for a cross bike, it isn't so much about prioritizing rotating weight as on road bikes -- you're still hoisting the same weight regardless of where it is.

Did anyone hear of new cx-frames that can be used with Shimano br785?

I am looking for this next year. Right now I am keen on the new Focus Mares but I am really hoping for a new Cannondale.

I'm building a Di2 hydraulic disc set up using a DeBall frame it has all holes/mounts. The brake hoses run externally.

Depending on the brakes the penalty is 400-500 Gramm.
The r 785 ist soon replaced by a new brakeset( name forgotten)

I just recently built up a 2014 Ridley X Night disc with mechanical campy record/super record with TRP hy rd. The frame set I compatible with electronic mechs and it comes with extra bits for either.
