For me the most noticeable thing is the variance in the frontal area of the three helmets; I understand that the lack of vents it what makes the POC an "aero" helmet, but looking at how huge it is from the front (in comparison to the Evade) the thought seems laughable.

But hey, aero is a fickle beast.

It may well be ugly, but the salad bowl is close to 100 grams lighter. Okay, maybe 75.

By the time you add all the necessary greens and dressing into the salad bowl, you'll make up that 75g.

Whatever happened to the Bell aero road helmet prototype Belkin wore at times last year. IMO the best looking out of the group.

I have a Lazer Helium with a chrome aero cover from my friends at Lotto Belisol. I doubt it is as aero as the newer helmets, but it is pretty neat-looking. It is hot as hell, though and I would only want to ride in in cold weather. How are the new helmets?

The placing of the vent is pretty unfortunate.

At least the Astana rider is getting a good chuckle out of it.
