You can turn the "guts" of the post around and it will be just about 0 offset.

ah, so in other words you just flip the lower claps around? hmmm. i'm guessing that is what they describe for another seatpost here: http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/gea ... /#features
"Alloy rail clamp reverses between 12mm and 23mm offsets"

I'm guessing that's for the vector post. I think if you swapped the guts on the d fuse post you would end up with either 0 offset or +5 or so.

well that gives me hope.. any chance you want to try it and take pics???
but seriously thanks. i'll ask a local Giant dealer about doing this. I got fit for the Med TCX I have now and everything is good with a 110 stem and 0 setback post (short legs / long torso)

Does anyone know about the sizing of these bikes? What is the recommended size for someone that is 180 cm tall?
EDIT: Probably M/L as that's what Adam Craig at the same height is riding (http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-us/new ... ced/17110/).

Inseam 86 cm. So I guess M/L would be fine.
It's funny, I was looking at Giant's website this morning, not realizing that I was looking at unannounced (at the time, the bikeradar article was released later).
I'm looking at the Advanced 1, and then buying some carbon MTB tubeless rims from China, which could be used on my girlfriend's bike during summer.

Frame with hangers and seat clamp 1340g
Fork uncut with thru axle 490g
Seatpost uncut 212g
Didn't weigh the headset or cabling accessories yet.
Frame with bB Cups / bearings / pf ?
Sounds a Bit Heavy in my eyes
1340 Gramm is a good Weight for an Alloyframe in m/l, which means 57-58CM

What do you mean by that? M/L = 57-58 cm? Giants website says 54.5 cm with a top tube length of 56 cm.

I currently ride a 56 cm Kona Major Jake (from 2008). Would a comparably sized Giant TCX Advanced be the M instead of M/L then?
