So, while searching for a cheap carbon frame to build up a back up bike, I came across these Giant TCR Composite frames. Price seems to good to be true, but the shape and design seems to match, not the colors though. My question is, are they authentic frames?

Stay away. There is lots wrong. Since when did the TCR have a curved top tube?

Edit: Ah, TCR Composite - Mr.Gib got it wrong. Still a bit suspicious. The extension on the seat tube doesn't look quite right to me.

Whoops, misread the composite and thought they were supposed to be TCR advanced frames.

Can't say if those are fake or not, but you guys are confusing the TCR advanced for the Composite

Here is the Composite off the Giant website

It sells as a complete bike for $1800US, so the frame price on those ebay ads may not be that far off. :noidea:

. . . those are real, they're the lower end TCR Composites, not the TCR Advanced, from the boxes and warning stickers, seems like they're meant to be sold in China

That seems like a normal price for Giant TCR Composite frames. They are cheaper than the Advanced frames.

Ah, I went straight for the advance since those were the ones I've been eyeing. Good catch on the composite, going to edit my post now. :)

As a side note, I just noticed a major influx of giant anthem frames on ebay coming from hong kong as well.
