The 'nine' I bought is in fact a 'six' according to the graphics. But I'm not complaining, weight is only 3g over. It's a 90mm.

That would be because it is upside down in the photo.....?

Guys, these seem really nice and light.
I´ll have to buy one of these
But I´m lost with this acetone thing. Do you use it to wipe of lacquer or what?

Acetone isn't that bad as our bodies produce it and it is normally present in blood and urine. I wouldn't worry about a mask and don't smell it for hours inside a coffin and you'll be fine. I used nail polish remover and it took a minute or two. Also you don't need to use a lot of it.

Removing the graphics dropped .7g in weight!

Still wondering whether washers at the head are really needed.

Could someone measure the stack height of one of these for me please?

Fin, my Uno 9 is already installed. If it's possible to measure in that mode, explain exactly what the measure is and I can do that. My mass was 100.0g with screws. FWIW going from a 110mm to the 90mm helped a lot with pressure on my palms and finger numbness.

Nothing wrong with your memory, it is indeed 40mm

Thanks very much. Damn, I was hoping it would be 35 or 38mm...

Just to add my 2c..

On my fitter's recommendation, thought I test a budget stem just to try out the fit.. this is the old graphics..

At the shop, I picked up two stems both marked "110mm", but even just eyeing it, I could clearly see difference in length, so I asked for a metal rule, and sure enough one was just a hair under 110mm and the other close to 120mm, so the longer one must've been miss labelled.. Not trying to put this brand/product down, but just a word of caution... :?

To my surprise, the weight came out lighter than I expected, 106g for a 110mm..
And with some simple 3T Ti bolts came to exactly 100g, not bad!! :D

I've just bought the 100mm "7" about 4 weeks ago.
The side with the white/grey graphics fits my bike,
but I don't like the red side, so, I'll apply some acetone...
anyway, I'm very happy with it:

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the UNO, 6, 7 and ASA-105?

It is the ASA-105 that appeals to me (lightest and minimal graphics) but I can't find them for sale anywhere.

Is there a reliable discount supplier for these stems other than that auction site?

From what I've observed and understand, there are two main types, both from the same mold
- the 6 is made from AL6061 grade aluminium, AS-025 is the old graphics of the 6, while
- the 7 is made from AL7050 grade aluminium, ASA-105 is the old graphics of the 7.

disclaimer.. I don't work for this company or in any way associated.. :|

Just curious if anyone has any long term experience with this stem. The price and weight are pretty fantastic, I'm just worried about overall durability and noticeable stiffness issues. Any feedback would be great!

This is nice. Are you guys just getting them from Taiwan? No one in the US selling them?

Thanks. Would you be able to let me know which buyer you purchased from? The one I found selling them is estimating a March delivery.
