Anyone done this - show us your photographic proof?
I'm interested to see what they look like as they're the only wheels I've owned that I've not immediately de-stickered

I would not do it personally.. in fact, I'm thinking of getting white stickers instead of the black ones on it now. My bike frame is white.. so I think it will look better.

Haven't seen it but I think they'd look pretty awesome! Tristan at Wheelworks in Wellington can custom sticker them for you too. I destickered my 45s (had white decals) and got black stealth ones made by Tristan instead.
No need to quote above
The SES already have black decals, they are also small, I don't see the point in debadging.

of course it's possible, they are just stickers. I think he's saying they are already barely noticeable and I agree.

It's not as big a PITA as de-badging Zipp wheel decals, thats for sure.
And for the record, I can make any graphic in any color you want.

I actually saw a few SES this weekend that had been destickered, they looked good but unless you knew what shape you were looking at you couldn't tell who had made the wheels when they were completely debadged

I know the SES decals look stealth (see below) which is why I've not removed them yet but wouldn't they look better all blacked out? IMHO both Zipp's and Reynolds both look 100 times better when nude.

I wouldn't debadge Enve wheels simply because the logo looks good.

Mr friend has 3.4s. I thought they were debaged until I got really close.

I de-stickered both set's of SES wheels today, and phew they look way better!
Since this is WW, the scales show the following weight savings (aka marginal gains):
- 3.4's - fr = 1g / rear = 2g
- 8.9's - fr = 8g / rear = 12g
...and for anyone else doing the same, removal of the stickers is a pretty painless process as @carbonLORD has already stated.

I'll be debadging a set of 3.4 clinchers later next week. We have a customer who's getting red decals on his and I'll definitely snap pics before I put the new graphic kit on.
