Imagine using bars dropouts in that position?

I don't really see this as a problem, they aren't tilted that much. I'd rather have a good position on the hoods than in the bars, but ofcourse that's personal. I never used the drops much when doing cx races, only for the start and occasionaly on downhill sections. When in the hoods you are much more agile and able to better absorb shocks.
But hey, whatever works for you is fine with me

Nice builds are hard to find but easy to build. Just my few €...no offence.

It looks nice and right sized. Well build. Those wheels are great for cross bike. I had them also in my cross Sun.

If I pick with tooth stick:

-frame looks bit massive for because so small size. Time for ti-frame?

-Tune seat, just second ugliest seat after Arione. Time for some nice, like Fizic Pave or AX...for race cross, Pave is hard to beat?

-You may know hat I think Shimano sti's but those 9 speed ones look better than 10s "pears". And that typical Sti position makes me to search mens room...

-Pedals, Time's are nice....

-front ring, that bigger is quite big...

Sad that Fizik doesn't make basic version anymore with ti rails. And they are heavy. Like 26-280g...But, hey there is some nice AX-lightness seats...

For real CX, I would play with light seats, rails will break...

I have like 3 Fizik's now. One spare and 2 on run. Like them...new ones are bit wierd.

My bike is different now - after 2 rides in the woods I had to let the 50T go! Now I have 46T in front and have turned the bars a little backwards for better holding on the STI's!



Eggbeaters and Tune seat are my favorites - nothing beats the ride for me
