I know that a lot of weightweenies over here are not fond of Pinarello, but I took the leap and ordered one.
I wanted to have a pure and stiff Italian frameset with history and Italian flair. I am going to use it next to my Specialized S-works sl4, that I like very much.

It was a very close call between the Dogma and the Colnago C59, but when I saw the Dogma in real life I felt love was in the air.
The fact that the Dogma is probably a tiny bit stiffer then the C59 also influenced my decision. I am more of a big strong sprinter so this frameset suits me better.
At the moment the frameset is build up by my LBS with the parts I collected. The groupset will be Campa Record with 3T components. I can choose a lot of different wheels, but I will probably use my Lightweight Meilenstein clinchers or my Fulcrum Racing Speed XLR (dark label) wheels in the Dogma. For bad weather I can use Shamals dark label. I expect to pick up the bike in a few weeks time. Here some pictures (sorry for the not so good quality) of the frameset. The size is 57.5. I don't know the weight of the frameset, but I believe it is less then a full painted frameset. My frameset is naked carbon with some shiny clearcoat except for the painted parts. So I find it a challenge to get the bike below the 6.8kg.

Thanks. I was looking at a Dogma for years but I was not totally convinced. Recently the frameset grew on me big time and this 65.1 generation looks great imho. :-)

This is not my bike, but the bike of the owner of my LBS. It is a size 55 I believe and it looks great. It gives a good impression of the build up frameset.

I think you should go with the matching most handlebar ;-)

I am thinking about it, but it won't be a Most. My LBS offers a better alternative imho that is painted by a professional painter in the matching colours of the frameset. Expensive but beautiful.

I'm not typically a Dogma fan, but that looks sweet.
The colour scheme works perfectly.

Looking forward to see it come together.

The bike on the picture is not my bike but the bike of my LBS. My bike will almost look the same but better.

Funny how the appearance of a traditional threaded BB shell is these days becoming the sign of a top class/can't be beaten frame.

I'm one of the "anti-Pina" guys, but deep down I think I'm just jealous... ;-)

That is class, class, class. Love it. Great parts spec too.
