Those do look pretty massive but does the actual cleat contact area increase at all? (for those that actually have a pair to try)

Can anyone post a picture of the spindle/bearing assembly?
Is it different than the prior version?

A little beefing-up wouldn't be such a bad thing they look more substantial but we'll see if the plastic/carbon matrix holds up. The leaf spring at least looks way improved. I might go w the max resistance, anyone have an opinion on that?

Older Blades do look better yes.

Interesting in those who have switched ... did the lower stack height mean a drop in saddle?

This graphic from the LOOK website makes it appear that the increase in contact area is at the rear-center of cleat contact.

Maybe a tiny addition at the edges.

And at the front.

it's a bit misleading for Look to include the button in the contact area for the new pedal and not for the old one.
I take it the cleat is the same design? The button provides minimal if any support.

Don't think the button does anything at all, I always remove it before installation.

Yeah Ive never used it, just draw an outline around the cleat and use that as a template, the rest is too much effort

Do the pedals spin freely on the axles? I sold my Keo2 Max Carbon because the pedals didn't spin very well & didn't 'fall' to the same position when I unclipped.
Nice bike btw

Thanks. :D

Pedals don't spin as I expected them to do, returning to the same position after you unclip.
But they are still new and full of grease. Let's see after a few kilos.....

Do they stay in this position? Or was this just setup like this for the photo?
