When you order online is hard to get a fit.

I'm thinking about a Colnago C59 for next season. I'm 182cm and originally ride a 56cm TT on my Trek and Canyon. What size would you recommend. I'm guessing the one with 56cm TT, duh. But Colnago sizing can be a bit tricky. Is sizing down for a more aggressive fit (54-55 TT) and going with a longer stem (like 130mm+) an option here?

You should go for 52s. (M10) I am 182 a ride a 52s with 110 stem.

I am 180cm and have relatively longer torso, I ride a 56cm (55cm TT ) with a 120mm stem, the equivalent sloping is a 52s.

You could also go with a 58cm ( 56cm TT) or the equivalent 54s

I'm wondering if 54s would be right or bit too big as I prefer smaller and more aggressive nimble rides.

I'm 5'11" (71" or about 182cm) tall with a 31.5" inseam. I have owned a CX-1, M10 and C59 all in 52s. I have a long torso and use a 135-140mm stem.

That said, go to a Colnago dealer and get fitted... It's worth it with such a large expenditure.

I'm 184cm and ride a 54s with 130mm stem, I think 52s would be too small for someone 182cm...

6: Is it correct that the frame comes in electronic version and "normal"shifting version? When buying the electronic frame version, you cannot use normal shifting groups anymore?

The C59 comes drilled for electronic and can ALSO be used for a mechanical setup. Covers all bases.

There is no option except that you can "request" they don't drill the holes in the frame if you run mechanical as I do. However, when I ordered my C59 they came back to me with a $1000. charge NOT to drill holes in the carbon!!!

The M10 is a fine bike, but if you're plopping down that much money you might as well go all out to the C59.

Any traditional users here? I see that sloping version is more popular here. I'm thinking about 57 or 58cm model or a 54s just need to figure out if I want sloping or not traditional versions look nicer imo but compact might suit me better. Thoughts?

Why do you think sloping might suit you better, clearance problems or something else?

BTW, what size stem do you have on your current 56cm TT bicycle(s)? And what saddle to bar drop, how tall is the spacer stack?

Would a C59 size 58t with a 120mm stem will be too big for an average build person with 181cm height?
I'm on a verge of buying my first Colnago. Curently I'm riding Trek 3.5 size 56cm with effective TT 56cm (c59 has 56.5cm TT but is different geo).
My friend told me that 58 in Colnago is and equivalent of size 56 on most frames (Canyon, Trek, Giant).
