Hi to all, new to this site, here's my bike!

2004 Giant TCR in T-Mobile colours
Currently around 7.5kg

Not really a weight weenie, hopefully it will be in time though!
Current spec is as follows:

Mostly Ultegra 6600 groupset, standard double, with a 6700 12-25 cassette
Mavic Aksiums, stickers removed
Planet X lightweight skewers
Continental Attack & Force tyres
Continental lightweight tubes
Rose carbon seatpost and saddle
5mm Rose carbon spacer
BBB carbon top cap
3T 130mm stem
3T Ergonova bars
SRAM Garmin mount
Fizik tape
Look Keo 2 max pedals (new since photos were taken)
Elite cages
Jagwire cables

Think that's all! Want to swap the cages for either carbon or black Elites, and go back to white handlebar tape. Next upgrades then will be wheels, and brakes to shed some weight...longterm I'm aiming for 6.8kg.

Overall a lovely bike to ride and a great groupset.

Thanks for looking!

I love this color scheme! I always have my eyes open for this frameset in my size.

Great ride! Brings back memories of my TCRs from the past!

All the best with the 6.8kg. It has lots of potential

Welcome to the site.
This set up with a 10 year old frame is better built as some of 2014 bikes.
Looks good.

Nice, I'm a big fan of the old TCR's, had an Once' rep back in the day.

I had mine repainted, due to some scratches. It's a 2006 T-Mobile LE (ISP), very similar to yours:

Since then I've moved to the newer TCR. It's comfier than the one above, though I miss the stiffness and response of that bike.

Thanks for the comments! @shotgun - that's a gorgeous looking bike, would love one at some stage!

Thought I'd post a little update...competed in my first open race on this bike at the weekend, managed to finish 7th and score a couple of points!! Delighted with the result, and how the bike performed...finishing ahead of a lot more modern machinery was nice :P

I've changed the wheelset for Vueltas which I got cheaply second hand, they'll do til I can afford something a little better! They weigh just a touch over 1500g so a few hundred grams were lost, and they roll so much faster than the old Aksiums! I removed the stickers that were on them as I didn't like the look of them at all. Bar tape was changed to white Fizik, much nicer feel than the old tape. I'm currently waiting on a set of carbon bottle cages and ti bolts I bought off ebay, that should shed another 40g or so! Next up will be a DA chain, and some lightweight jockey wheels. And a few photos:

Carbon bottle cages and ti bolts arrived in the post this morning. Cages were 17 & 18g, saving 54g over the Elites. The ti bolts were 6g, saving 13g over the old bolts. Really happy with this, a 67g saving for 30 euro!
