How would you solve the Problem with the Diameters 27,2 and 28,0? Thanks for a short answer.

On my C40 I just ran this adapter:

27,2 > 28 version Works fine, I never had any slip with that installed.

Thank you verymuch for the Information. :beerchug:

made some upgrades:

laced corima viva rims. they are stiffer and feel much faster.
changed the bar from newton shallow to campione with blb leather tape.
bought an original seat post. €180,- and 215g!!! this is not nice, but for optical reason i had to change the newultimate post.

Absolutely beautiful. Classy build except I would like to see the saddle a bit more rear.

Which looks better on a C40? Campagnolo Record Seatpost or Colnago Seatpost?

@ BxEddie and Ekorre:
Semi-custom ;) It's an ebay carbon with resemblance to the San marco aspide composite however slightly narrower and shorter. Bought some fake leather and glued it with contact cement. Turned out pretty nice even without some black marker to hide the white threads. Used two layers of leather in the sit bone area.

Seatpost shim from 27.2 --> 28.0.

Thanks for the kind words guys :) The bike is broken in in The Calpe area at the moment.

hey MJB, really good looking bike, although i think you could do a better job with the tape on the handlebars

Stunning.

Would have been perfect with a C-Record/Record groupset!

Looks great MJB.
A white Rolls or Regal would look better but I understand that the saddle is a personal choise.

To my eye the Colnago seatpost works better on the C40. The 27.2 Record post, aside from having to be shimmed, looks skinny on that frame.
