What a pity. And there is not enough Fuchsia!A darker tone of blue, that could make even more precious the tradizional and unique fuchsia Lampre and the shining Merida green.

They won't be knee long by the time you ride in them. I'm more worried about the trend for high cuts on jerseys
I know it's not knee long, but it's too long imo.

That last paragraph you put in was not funny, HT2.
Agree with munk93 on the length of those shorts (and I'm so happy that Assos have had the sense not to jump on that bandwagon with the new S7s).

Yeah, I don't see the humor in it. Say what you want about the guy, but if his event and its sponsors are actually contributing to bike advocacy and infrastructure shouldn't we cyclists appreciate that?

really feeling the rear half of the bike, but the way it transitions into that bianchi trademark color, ehhhhhhh
The trouble (or actual intent as the legend goes) with Celeste is that it clashes with everything. The front half of the bike is Bianchi and the last half is Belkin and blends with the rider's kit. What would be really bad was a bike with next to no Celeste.

I imagine it all depends on the riders size. Schleck is pretty tall so I bet if we find a photo of a shorter rider (on the same team, at the same time) the shorts will be a lot closer to the knee.
I know most guys get custom, but I bet that some companies don't have limitless options either, so some tend to be longer on shorter riders and just right/shorter on others.
Speaking as a tall skinny rider, I love to see kit like this (length, that is) and get them if I find them. Otherwise I look like I am wearing women's "short shorts". (shorter than Tommy V.'s )

Maitre Jacques would not adore.

I like it. Helmets have always been about function, not form (fashion purists have always preferred cycling caps), and it's light [*], designed to avoid concussion-causing twisting moments, and in the orange, visible.

Yeah, in the same way as we'll all rejoice when The Lance Armstrong Gran Fondo comes about
