Makes sense, that long sprint 30s power  way to blow wheel sucking final 100m sprinters out of the water.

(what I would not give for one that high)

Also a nice to get some real Pro's data

Thanks Tinea & aerozy

Please remember that I quit 2006 as a pro.
I used to be lighter (65-67kg's) and stronger. Unfortunately there were some guys who had better fuel than I had so I decided to quit.
Now, I'm racing just for fun.

^ In the light of all that’s being revealed lately its not surprising that a guy as talented as turbokoo had to step down because of cheats. Quite sad though. I've seen the guy race so these numbers are not surprising at all. So of course if he was living as a pro year’s back, living day in and day out training/racing his numbers would have been naturally higher. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons we don’t see more Finnish cyclists up there in the pro peloton. You are "culturally" too honest :)

I've been without my meter this season, only been riding with it for a month and so far my numbers are as follows

1 sec: 1313W
10 sec: 1150W
30 sec: 853W
5min: 430W
20min: 355W

Weight 77 kgs.

As it's the off-season I'm probably a bit weaker and I've gained a couple of kilos since summer. I've mainly been riding for fun and attempted a couple of KOMs for the heck of it. Training has been somewhat scaled back.

And yes.... I'm giving a lot to try to match Turbokoo's 30 sec... That's an awesome number!

37years, 179cm, 64kg. Recreational rider, no sports background, never been to a race. 2013 was the first year with power meter and any kind of systematic training. Might try my luck in a local race at some point.

5s 987W
30s 846W
1min 709W
5min 349W
20min 320W

20min was an all-out effort on trainer, the rest are from training rides on the road.

32 (just turned so I was 31 for these #s) Cat 2 road, Cat 1 MTB, 77kg, All with a powertap

5sec: 1558
10sec:1358
30sec:974
1min:718
3min:518
5min:442
20min:370
FTP (est with multiple 1hr NP):360

Amazing how things change in the off-season. I am now closer to 80kg and feel like I am going to die after 20min @ 350, LOL. It will get better, it always does.
