Planning to build with some spare parts from the garage. DA 7800 1x10 drivetrain, Answer mini SX BMX crank, Dati/Kinlin/CXray wheelset, TRP mini V brakes, crankbrothers pedals and seatpost, generic stem and bars. Should be ready in time for the Christmas week of CX in Belgium.

Frameset arrived today. It feels a bit heavy. Unfortunately my scale is dead so I can't weigh it. I'm considering putting these on it...

Build list is going to look something like this:

D/A 7800 shifters & derailleurs (may go 1 x10)
BMX crankset converted for dual chainrings
Kinlin/Dati/Sapim wheelset
Crankbrothers seatpost and pedals
Generic stem
Giant 36cm short/shallow bars
KMC X10sl chain
TRP mini-v brakes

All parts I have in the parts box in the garage. Just need to buy a set of cables.

Build complete. Pictures to follow. I had to use a crappy bottom bracket which will be changed soon. Seatpost wound up being a Ti Pro Lite and I had to use a really old Ultegra front derailleur. I used a one-piece Extralite 42/28 chainring and a 12/28 cassette. I had to use white derailleur cables because the local shop didn't have any fully sealed cables in any other color. Also ended up using an Ultegra chain. I also added cross-top levers and stuck with the carbon fork that came with the frame.

I don't know... it's a Belgian brand with French being one of the country's official languages. It can't be any worse than wearing VERGE clothing....

Honestly, I had them in the garage.

But, also, a bit easier for smaller hands to manage... closer to the rim, which has disadvantages, but better stopping power with a shorter pull of the lever.
