New saddle, black housing and stainless steel King cages and it's good to go.

A Turbomatic would be an authentic choice, they were comfortable too.

This Colnago was restored and given as a Christmas gift to my nephew who is starting his bike shop business.

It's his choice of color, tyres and saddle

IMO the gold looks great, better than what I expected.

I have a Turbo clone ( made by Kore ) in another Steel bike we built for my stay here , and indeed looks more "authentic", but given the bad shape of the roads here, the Brooks seems a more sensible choice :P Also the copper rivets and rails seem to match the frame colour.

This is a SOMEC frame with Paletti fork I brought also so my nephew could have a "template" example for the chrome, paint and build jobs.

it is fully built on a Chorus 9 speed group and NOS Mavic Open SUP Rims, 3TTT TDF handlebars and the mentioned Kore Turbo saddle we wanted to use the white cables on it but they were cut too short so they ended on the Colnago and this one received black ones.

No complaints both builds are very good and were a great learning experience for him.
