Is this the lightest solution if you replace the bolt with an alloy bolt and alloy nut?

This one is lighter and seems like a better idea from an engineering standpoint.

Less likelihood of fork chatter with the first hanger

Please don't use an alloy bolt on that cable hanger.

I'm sure he meant alloy adjuster........ changing the bolt just doesn't bear thinking about with all that leverage........

Two years ago I tried this:
http://shop.berner-bikes.com/drupalprod/Zughalter

and I couldn't believe I fixed the fork chattering on a easton ec90 fork after I tried almost everything. Now I have it on all my bikes (4). I couldn't spend my money better

Can you post a picture of your bike with this holder installed please? This holder looks interesting.

It just replaces a headset spacer. So won't work on mine. (Slammed stem)

I even had to get new forks to stop the juddering, and fit a crown mounted cable stop.

Slammed too. To have the same bar height as my old bike I can only use one 2mm spacer. Did find a titanium bolt for the mount. When I get it in I will show original weight and what I tuned it down to, safely of course.

Lightest solution I've seen is two-step hole through the stem.
Upper hole (top of stem) is large enough to take the housing. Lower hole (bottom of stem) is only large enough for the cable. This makes the housing 'stop' in the interior of the stem.
Total weight gain is actually a loss: you will only lose a gram or two from the holes.
