I have a new TCR Advanced SL coming soon and would like to install 25 Conti's on the rear. Is this going to work or is the 25 going to be tight. Thanks for your help :beerchug:

Fine.

I've run 25's on my 2012 model just fine.

Are 28's possible. I picked up a set of Schwalbe Ones intended for a Classics Domane, but since have cancelled that bike..so have a set of big tires. My frame will arrive next week, so I can find out what will work. Thanks

Never tried 28's but I think they'll work.

I'm on a TCR ADV sl 0 '13 and also have Shimano DA C50 wheelset '13. Shimano recommend 25mm for the C50 and yes it is a tight squeeze getting the back wheel on & off. 25mm will work, but I would suggest 28 wouldn't.
hope that helps

A friend had a few issues on a road race in the UK whilst running conti 25s. They were on a '12 tcr adv sl using zipp 303 firecrest clinchers the new wider wheels. He ended up with a small stone down the back of the seat tube and the tyre causing wheel to jam. Could have happened with 23's too I'm sure. Just bad luck I guess. Other that that and us younger folk calling them Granda tyres he seems to like them.

I think the answer actually depends on the wheels as 28's on narrower rims will probably work where as Zipp Firecrest 303/404 wheels probably not so much.

I'm on DA C24s and like I said, there's a lot of room. I also run Zipp 303FC with Vittoria 25s on this bike without issue.
