Gone, but never forgotten, that’s what I have to say about Serotta.
I’ve been eyeing on one, however along the way I’ve gotten distracted by other makes and ended up with different built etc. Being partial to lugged frameset, as well as a traditionalist, the Meivici is what I felt is equivalent to the TIME VXRS Ulteam (built quality, attention to detail, lugs etc).
Probably the last of its kind, a Serotta Meivici SG, in 6.5 tubes.
Frame weight: 1195 gr
Fork (uncut): 420 gr

Equivalent to a VXRS? Nah.
Heavier for starters, not forgetting it has no warranty worth mentioning.

It looks beautiful, I'm very glad for you and looking forward to seeing how this will be built up.

Awesome find. Do tell how it came into your possession... the exodus of men and materials from Serotta was a Pompeii-style meltdown with a million stories ranging from intriguing to tragic.
Also, while you plan your build, please post a few detail shots of the lugs, weave, finish, and frame details of note. Serotta's in-house lugs, dropouts, small parts, and fork used to be quite a treat to examine. Did you acquire a Serotta fork with this?

Thanks for the comment guys.
Frame does indeed come with a manufacturer's warranty as updated on 9.12.13 by Serotta themselves.
http://serotta.com/warranty/
•Original owners of all models with proof of purchase dated on or after May 3, 2012: Limited warranty provided at time of sale honored. We will honor the warranty for framesets built under the current ownership and have improved the crash-protection program by extending it to 10 years.
Here are pics of the original fork.
All pics above were taken by a personal friend of mine right after delivery for inspection purpose.
Frameset/fork is currently in Connecticut, waiting to be shipped to Tokyo Japan next week.

How do you plan on building this one up?
I'm sure like your other bikes, it won't disappoint!

@tonytourist
Will be build up using Campagnolo, probably on Record 11, 2010 groupset.
Another option would be on SR with the red highlites, still considering
Selle Italia C64 saddle, Campagnolo Record 27.2mm post.
I guess the overall weight will be pretty close to my C50 in STSL, approx ~6400gr

Apologies for the harsh tone before. What wheels are you planning on using to get under 6.5?
Awesome looking frame!

Received the frameset 4 days ago.
Definitely not a ww frameset to begin with but compensates with its amazing built quality.
Approx 100gr lighter than the STSL C50.
Currently awaiting the CK headset before proceeding with the build.
Bike will be equipped with Campagnolo Record 11 speed 2010 groupset, currently mounted on the TIME VXRS.
@ultimobici,
Probably a DT240 LW Ventoux.
