Thanks for all the positive comments...although they may stop with my next photos. The had to replace my Deda stem due to it cracking so i saw this and though it looks cool, so why not put it on a cool bike. When my chain is clean the gold colours match up well.

Bike comes in at 6.9. A 10 gram increase from my other stem.

I took the bike out last weekend and it was a treat to ride, almost perfect in my book.

Although I think the stem itself is pretty amazing, it looks like crap on your Nago (and on almost any other bike for that matter).

Interesting stem but I agree, does not belong on this bike.

No split opinions, everyone hates that stem. Haha. The gold looks nice but on a larger frame a stem with that shape looks like a tiny 60mm stem for trick riding. All your bike's lovely proportions are thrown off by that one little detail, IMO.

Almost forgot to mention, love the matte green. I'm also in Cali and have seen one in person. And yesterday, an SUV with a custom paint job in the same color parked next to me. Kinda of stunning on that scale. The owner and I had a brief chat and she was really amused to learn that bikes have been ahead of the matte color trend. Her paint job was 8 grand. Anyhoo, all the shiny black parts really popped against the matte green. There was also the obvious military theme as her personalized plates were "srtTank"

Ugh, can we make a new forum rule about posting pictures of gorilla testicles?

Isn't it a chimpanzee, although your point stands?

What is that stem, it has a very unusual clamping arrangement.

It is a rock solid mtb stem.
