Androni were riding the cheaper Sempre Pro this year instead of the Oltre XR that Vacansoleil used. Give the top frames to PT teams and the second tier frames to PC, and thus show that pros can use those too. Good business strategy methinks.

Also, pro teams need a hell of a lot of bikes. I doubt they want to give out that many high end frames if they don't have to considering the monstrous margins on them.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.
