Maybe this fits him?

I wasn't questioning that. I would never do that simply from a picture. My point was that, if it does, he could achieve the same relative position and a more pleasing aesthetic by dropping the spacers, rotating the bars and raising the levers.

Calnago : Here you go. Not that easy to get a good picture of the front fork but it looks like you can easily fit a larger tire than 25mm in there. This is a GP4000 25mm clincher on a Fulcrum Racing 3 wheelset. Good clearance in all directions.

Valbrona : The picture is an Vuelta poster from the 50s :)

Here is an updated picture with some other wheels. also changed to black spacers.

Solarider : Havent had more than one ride yet so its not dialled in perfectly yet ;)
Found that new 3T Tornova bars is a bit different than the Rotundo I had on my old bike. Now the levers are on the highest mark, on the Rotundo they were halfway down. Here is my old bike with the Rotundo bars.

Hi
First post here...
This was my Colnago C40 with Campag Record 10 speed, and 50mm China Clinchers.
Image
Really nice ride, but wanted something new, so I had to sell it on..
Frame has a bit of history, I bought it from a guy in France, Rode it for 1½ yrs in Denmark, and have now sold it on to a guy in Northern Ireland. :)

Great photos. Glad to get to see the older paint schemes. Why/when did Colnago stop painting them this way and revert to more decal like styles?

Here is my Extreme-C in TWBK, taken just after completing this year's Etape du Tour. I was packing it away for the flight home, hence the missing pedals. Sorry for the crappy hotel basement phone photo. It's a 57 and comes in at a sniff over 6.9kg all in; it's standard 10sp Record apart from the chainset and brakes which are Super Record. Bars are Zero100 and headset is Cane Creek. I'm changing it to 11sp over the winter together with its alter ego, my PR00 Extreme Power.

I returned to cycling last year after a sixteen year break (women and cars  ). Back in the 90s I was a first category rider and raced on Colnagos almost exclusively; my mainstay was a Master in the '88 Panasonic livery which I bitterly regret selling. Anyway the love has endured and here I am collecting them again. Still utterly fantastic things to ride, but a lot lighter these days!

The Master Rabobank looks sweet. Square taper cranks would be nicer though.
