At least Dan Martin didn't put the Garmin Vectors on his holiday wish list.

Damn..They would match perfect with Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and his style.

I'm hoping there will be only 1 pair in the world. :smartass: :unbelievable:

Houndstooth ≠ Checkered.
They don't match, and shouldn't be paired together.
Sorry.

Commenting on a lighthearted post with a humorless and judgy response that adds nothing to the conversation = a lot of time on your hands.

Keep trolling for minutiae to rip apart; these kinds of posts add a lot to the conversation! Oh, and be sure to say sorry when you write something that’s not so nice, because then it makes everything ok.

Anyone know the story behind Blythe and Nike? I cant believe the shoes he has made and got to admit a bit of jealousy.
Does anyone have his phone number? I have an old tie that matches those shoes and the holidays are near. I mean, if we wear the same size shoe it might be a good idea to get on his good side. Seems he might have a few laying around.

Also, why do ppl dislike each other so much all of a sudden? chill out ppl.

I should've added a  at the end of it because it was meant to be read in a light-hearted way, but seriously: they don't match. Just a fashion faux pas, and the guy who owns those shoes seems to have an interest in fashion cues (however divisive they may be)

as for Gert Jan Theunisse, relax buddy, you sound really pissed off for some reason. If it's the weather, don't take it out on other people. If it's something else going on in your life, don't take it out on other people. While you're at it, go ahead and look through my posts so you can verify your claim that I'm trolling for minutae. Really, do some digging before making accusations. And look! Several posts which added nothing to the conversation, just like a good portion of the thread since it started. And you were part of it!

Can we move on and talk about Pro shoes and other stuff, please?

Yeah, gotta second the checkered and houndstooth comment.

BTW, those shoes are FINE and I would buy them in a second.

AFAIK they're 'just' Rocket7s so you could get some, minus the swoosh of course.

It does seem weird that Nike would sponsor him when it means the trouble of custom shoes; maybe it's a personal relationship from the GB track days and I guess it's only a few hundred to get someone to make them. Either way I guess it's working as we're telling each other to *f##k* off about it and I just googled nike cycling shoes.

These days vintage goes with new, silk goes with wool, and yellow shoes go with everything. Not matching is The Thing! :smartass:
