Just saw this Pop up in a Velovie ad.

Nothing on the site yet:

Anybody got an insider on this ?
They look pretty much like low end Reynolds wheels...nothing special...

Louis,

A friend of mine owns the company. Another few friends have tested their products for months and have confirmed that the braking on them is better than Reynolds. My good friend rides a lot in the Boulder/Golden area on the 32mm wheels and says the braking compares to his 404 Firecrests, but he actually likes them quite a bit more.

For the price they're a good item in my opinion.

Essor's a rando rebranded china rim being marketed by Velo Vie. You won't find any other reviews of them because they're a house brand.

Hmm.. from the picts, the 46mm doesn't look to be that though. Looks more like a 50mm instead ??

You also wont find reviews because they started selling to the public yesterday. I have seen a few sets in person, they look good. I will be interested to see how they do over time.

They're also not rando and not just a light-bikes rim with stickers slapped on. They are made in China and AFAIK have never tried to hide this with any of their products.

These are made in Taiwan. I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have.
