Yes, that is what I'm talking about. I know there are several companies that offer this type of build. Personally I think its awesome even if you don't go tubeless. Don't have to fool with rim tape and its probably built a bit stronger since there are no holes taking away from the structure of the wheel.

Build quality of the LB45's wheelset is very good. After several thousand miles they are still perfect. Minus the clear on the brake trac that is still slowly rubbing off.

It's a pretty common practice. Regular nipples.

Haha..cool. But I didnt know those aluminum Fulcrums were "high-end" racing wheels like the outdated video suggests.

Cool technique, simplest of solutions sometimes.

What gets me a tad pissed is I bought a set of 40mm Hongfu aero rims. Then not long after, light came out with their 45mm, which I prefer. Yet, even with the 5mm added depth and no holes drilled, they are the same weight as my Hongfu.

Oh well.

16h front laced to DA7900
24h rear laced to DA9000
cxray spokes all around.

Found these from Nextie Bikes on eBay. I wanted something wider than the standard 19mm wide low profiles, so I don't have to adjust the brakes when switching between my other 50x25mm wheels.

I don't know... Enve, Zipp, and Reynolds eventually conceded that they couldn't make rims that light that would hold together. If *you* are very light and easy on wheels, maybe you'll be ok.

thats crazy light. 150-200g lighter than most carbon rims......not sure

For the record the enve 25 rims are 35gr heavier not 200. Don't know why everyone is losing their shits. Maybe they assumed they were clinchers which would be bonkers. You'll be fine.

I think ENVE has a reason to add weight on their rims - less overheated brake tracks-specially on low profile rims - less mass less cooling
