In general you are required by contract to wear your team kit until the end of the calendar year so riders switching teams will often just be on the new team bike prior to Jan 1.

I like the Movistar paint scheme with their new Canyon sponsorship.

I really liked the Movistar liveries on the Pinarello's. It will take a bit of time to adjust to the Canyon.
Not that I love the pinas, but Movi's always looked best (even the whiteish one from 2012). Not so sure on the Canyon. Best one for me was Lotto's red on one side, blue/green on the other...or Gilbert's Belgian champ...but it's hard for any bike in the Belgian champ livery not to look bad a$$

PR/marketing suicie for Garmin Vectors
*sigh*
Just goes to show that 1) not all pros are that bright, 2) contradicts himself in the same paragraph about team Sky 3) probably doesn't "train by power*" because of 1).
*training by power is a good indication he doesn't get it. Training by power and recording power data are two very different things.
So you don't like the fact he rides by using instinct and how his body is feeling rather than watching an SRM?

*Double sigh*.
Looks like Martin isn't the only who doesn't get it.
Recording of power data and racing on instinct are not mutually exclusive.

Really digging that Canyon paintjob...
BTW, what's wrong with no using power data if the guy wins races?

Blythe won nice races on higher bars when he was a Lotto rider!
That is a dramatic change of position.

It doesn't satisfy internet pseudo-coaches that barely ride a bike and don't actually understand that people who are gifted can often be pretty successful with a variety of training modalities.

I wonder why/when it changed? Being a track rider I'm sure he is used to putting out power being low and his role as a rider has changed. I'd love to see the hyper low/mega drop positions tunnel tested mainly to see if Gerard Vroomen's theory about riders increasing drag by lowering bars too much is true.
