I like to make a lot of the accessories I use on the bike. I've made saddle tool rolls, cycling caps etc.

I needed a new belt as I lost quite a bit of weight after training and racing hard this past road season. I ended up having some spare carbon headset spacers laying around and some climbing webbing. Perfect combo for the Weight Weenie belt!

Vertically compliant? :) Great idea, might do something like that some time. Mine will be heavier as i only have alu/steel spacers to spare...

Thanks for the comments all.

Obligatory Weight Weenie scale shots..... haha. Seriously though, I wasn't aiming to make a WW belt, but this thing actually saved a bit of weight. Not that I think as much about weights on my commuter bikes (which is when I wear this belt):

If you decide to sell these, do post it on the WW forum! I like it a lot!

Thanks for all the feedback! I'd be happy to make more and sell these to people who are interested. I love the thought of contributing to the WW community in some way even if it's just a belt and not with incredible handmade custom saddle/seatpost combos (which I drool over on this site).

I was thinking of starting an Etsy page so I could make them to order. Anyone else interested?
