Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed ✔ FIXED
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken ✔ FIXED
- Avatars cannot be uploaded ✔ FIXED

Please note that we will soon do some changes in WW board template design in case to get a fully mobile/desktop responsiveness board!

Anyone used a Scott Spark or any other Scott with a Twin Loc?
Obviously, that's used to control both front and rear shocks, but while I thought it was a gimmick at first, it's a great improvement on long distance rides. I now find myself changing between the 3 positions pretty often. I am seeking the balance between efficiency AND comfort. I have my best time yet on my usual 24 mile course (with about 3500 feet of vertical) and all in comfort.

THE QUESTION:
I want to change my fork - but still want to use the Twin Loc.
What are my options for something really light?

Running: Tapered, 15mm front axle - looking for 100mm of xc travel, at a super light weight.

Scott says to contact Fox and request that my new fork comes with the correct damper (from Fox).
RockShox says that I need to contact Scott to get the right damper.
I want a rockshox - but now am baffled.

Has anyone else tried to change the fork on their Scott Spark 900s, YET retain the Twinloc found on the Spark 930 and above?

About about a DT Swiss XMM 100 29?

Otherwise - find an old remote lockout for the rear shock only and get whatever remote lockout for the fork. I have a xloc and it works great.

Just got the answers:
According to RockShox, changing forks using a Scott Twinloc system is actually simple.
The RockShox 2012-2014 Reba and SID (example: SID World Cup) are the only forks that can be made Twinloc compatible.
After purchasing your RockShox, your local bike shop can purchase part # 11.4015.559.020 from SRAM, unthread the original compression damper, and thread the new one in.

The rumors were right: RockShox customer service is excellent.
While speaking with a tech at Fox, 2 people didn't know the answer, and I still do not have an answer from Fox (short of asking me to contact Scott directly).
Bottom line: RockShox customer service is still second to none.

Hope someone else can use this info.

Usually people seem to complain about the *rear* shock ... the "Nude 2" or whatever it's called. What's your impression of it?

Really good, but I am often reminded that I am on a race bike (XC) and not on a plush cruiser. I am not sure if I am getting a full 100mm of travel (feels like a little less) but compared with my 100mm of travel on the Scalpel 29er, I have to admit that the Nude2 is:
More efficient (no bobbing)
More travel
3 settings
Quick release - one switch / 2 shocks - I really like the difference

Hi,
Were you able to find that part for the rockshox?
I just received the 2013 Reba and the twinloc does not work correctly, I can't find the reference of that part when I google it or in the Rockshox website.

Sram won't sell it directly.

For info, I wasn't able to get mine - SRAM was out (about 3 months ago)
