FEEL FREE TOO MAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS!
I've been following posts on the forums here for a few months and decided I'd join the gang bang of weenies. Up for suggestions on what to replace to drop the weight.
Anyways, here's my ride. It's by no means weight weenie, but seeing that I'm a college student who runs cross country for my University, I primarily use cycling to cross train, for now. The bike is pretty much stock except for a few upgrades, which are listed below. Right now it weighs in at 8250 grams, without saddle bag. I do not have individual weights for parts, but seeing that non of them are exotic the weights should be pretty standard/easy to find. Hell, most of you probably already know most of the weights off the top of your head. Here's some pics and parts list:
Frame: 58cm 2007 Madone 5.2
Fork: Bontrager RL Carbon Legs, Aluminum Steerer
Stem: Bontrager RL Aluminum 110mm 7degree drop
Handlebars: 44cm Bontrager RL Aluminum
Seatpost: Bontrager RL Carbon
Shifters: Ultegra 6600
Brakes: Ultegra 6600
Crank: Ultegra 6600 53/39 175mm
Front Derailleur: Ultegra 6600
Read Derailleur: Dura-Ace 7800
Bottom Bracket; Dura-Ace 7800 68mm english thread external
Chain: Dura-Ace 7800 (Soon to replace with Dura-Ace 7900)
Cassette: Ultegra 6600 (Soon to replace with Ultegra 6700)
Cages: Bontrager RL
Saddle: ISM Adamo Road, Steel Rails (I wana be a daddy someday...I think)
Wheels: Bontrager RL
Tires: Continental GP4000
Pedals: Shimano R540
Cables/housing: basic SRAM
Bar Tape: Origin-8 cork
Computer: Trek Incite 8i
I want to get it down in the 15-16 pound range eventually (I'm 6'1'' 165lbs). Some of the major upgrades I am considering are listed below, but I would like to keep the shifters/derailleurs and saddle for now (love the 6600/7800 shifting performance): I can get pretty good deals on a wide range of components since I am working at a shop, so any suggestions are welcome, but don't forget I am working on a college students budget (I'm not a true weight weenie YET):
Wheels- light and aero (I live in the flat/windy region of South Florida, so thinking carbon clinchers in the 38-60 mm range)
Bar- prefer aluminum for durability, but carbon works too
Stem- stiff (that's what she said)
Seat post- 20-25mm setback
Brakes- KCNC, ZeroG?
Crank- light, stiff and compatible with my frame(I am I will most likely need a new bottom bracket)
Please pardon any of my humor if it has offended you, as it was not my intentions at all

Pictures:
crashed 2 weeks ago and totaled my saddle. Borrowing this one, until I get a new one (it will not be bright yellow)
last few upgrades will likely be:
stem: Zipp Service Course SL
Seat post: Fizik Cyrano Carbon
Handlebar: aluminum options, interested in traditional bend for extra reach and drop. other options?
3T Tornova, Zipp SC SL TB, etc

Looks like you had an issue with that other Madone in the background! What happened there?

That was actually a frame the shop warrantied for a customer. There was the tiniest of paint cracks under the rear brake internal routing. So instead of sending the frame back trek said we had to make it unrideable. So we managed to fulfill their requests.
^ So clever and witty, get it everyone? Because Discovery used drugs, so if you have the bike... ehhh you all get it.
