I have a SRAM force 2011 53/39 crankset BB30 and SRAM red FD 2012.
Not sure should I get 2012 exogram red BB30 crank, or get praxis rings for the force crank.
have praxis for my other bike and like it, but that bike shifts well anyway.
I would like shifting to be a little better. (sometimes it just doesn't catch the large chain ring).
The exogram would look alot better. I think maybe almost 100g lighter?
of course the exogram cost alot more.

I have Praxis rings paired with the new Red crankset and shifting is good but not quite as good as the stock rings. I'm using a SRAM chain though. Not sure if getting a KMC or Shimano chain would make improve shifting. It probably would. If you get Praxis rings only then I would make sure to get a new chain.

I've just swapped an old 2011 Red chainset (BB30) to the new Exogram Red chainset.
Big weight saving in the cranks. I've never used Praxis rings so can't comment on those.

Looking for more opinions,
original force BB30 -> exogram red BB30..
also using Red Yaw FD, PC-1091 chain
The Exogram crank arms and chain rings looks much better

The Exogram rings are a good 50g heavier than the Force chainrings. If you upgrade rings only then you will be gaining weight. If you upgrade the whole crankset you will lose about 100g. If you upgrade to the Red crankset and use Praxis rings you will lose about 150g.

If it doesn't shift properly it's a setup issue. If you want to go lighter or stiffer that is one thing, but you should have no problems shifting with a Force group.

Will the praxis rings shift better? The OP stated he's trying to eliminate shifting problems...
