I thought about the scapula or ax lightness fork but didn't realize your weight and the fact that the rca fork is tapered. Pop-products make some nice things just in case you didn't know.

yes the fork was really upsetting since i heard that on the R5CA the fork was made by THM and came in uncut at like 285, so i was not happy to see the 310 on this one. I love to see the lighter bar tape. I will have to see if THM could make a fork with the RCA graphics and see what they say. Thanks.

The reason for the increase in weight is the Nanovate coating. It makes a huge difference in impact resistance from what I've heard

This thread is a little weird, but I guess on point for weight weenies. I just would go with the rca fork and accept the " big" weight.

 :) i know i am going a little overboard and i do not think the look of the fork can change i just wish Cervelo stuck with THM on the for in the first place. I do not even know if it is possible but i will check into it just incase you want to change yours down the road.

5' 11.5". I rode a size 58 2006 original R3 ( old geometry). This 56 is perfect. Same stack as before, almost the same reach. I'm using a 120 stem. Perfect fit.

how tall are you ?

i was thinking, at 210 lbs (which i believe is 95 + kilos) ,and not being able to go lower, you must be over 2 meters (78 inches) tall and/or have thighs the size of michael hübner's

new parts looks good, might as well change the seatpost and handle to ax lightness as well, and maybe switch the crank to M3 with SRM significant weight difference than the quarq.
