Shampoo, what kind of gear are you shooting with?

Il Lombardia from the Ghisallo with crappy Iphone
It was a bit rainy, but no where near as cold as it has been some years. I think the inclusion of the Muro di Sormano and other overly steep climbs kinda sucks as it drastically reduces the pool of riders who could win. In it's current guise, only super light climbers will win this.
A blurry Tommy V giving it every strained expression he could muster, but the crowds were eating it up
Quintana, a cool customer
Biggest roar of the day, who could it be for....a dropped Contador who's muscling everything he can out of his legs to get over the top. Not a pretty sight. Gilbert came through a few cars ahead, also looking a shadow of his former self.
For all those that went for a ride and never made it home. May you rest in peace.

Ave, very nice! You really seemed to take advantage of the sections where the grade leveled off -- looked like everyone else was trying to rest between steeper sections. Best part was the last 15 seconds!

Nice pics. I was watching the race maybe a hundred metres up the road from you!

took home a W this weekend in my first muddy condition CX race. Cat3/4
^ ^ ^
Nice. That's a cool photo and a pretty wild looking hill climbing setup. Very minimal. Looks light.
Excellent. We rarely have mud here.

3rd at Catford is an awesome result, Jamie.
I was originally planning on doing it as well, but had to make a deal with the Mrs for a day each at the weekend, and I'd already agreed with some others from the club that we'd go for the team at the ECCA.

@Jamie - Is you're Strava weight up to date? Has you down as ~8.4W/Kg for Catford 8.5 for Bec - is that accurate?
Great stuff.
Great stuff.
Shot some CX this weekend and Tim Johnson was in town. Here he is at the Ekoi Cyclocross in Sherbrooke Quebec:

Afraid so. Not sure if it would have been easier to lose 2kg or find another 17W to take the win though...
