Yep. 6 weeks in the UAE and back to Europe in a couple of days. Can't wait to head out into the hills in the rain :D All these photos have helped to keep me sane. :beerchug:

I'd heard rumours of a "Road to Nowhere" up in the North of the UAE so i dragged myself out of bed at 4 this morning and drove a couple of hours to a place called Jebel Jaiz.

There were once plans to build a ski station on top of the highest mountain in the UAE but those plans were put on hold by the financial crisis - but not before they'd started building the access road.
The result is an 18km climb at 5.5% with no cars and perfect tarmac :lol:
