Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

ok i have a question to ask of those who understand geometry better than i do. I am currently riding a 54cm cannondale with a saddle height of 73cm, 55cm reach, 6cm of setback and 12cm of drop i have a 120 -8 stem at the moment. im 5'11" but have a relatively short 31" inseam. now im looking at a specialized allez sworks frame in 56cm, now i realize the top tube length is longer but could i achieve my position on the specailized frame? ive looked at the charts and i believe i could but im not that familiar with geo in general. here are the charts

Why not a 54 in the Allez? It's geometry is a lot closer to the Canondale 54 (I ride 54 Supersix and my measurements are close to yours). You won't get the drop you need with the higher headtube of the 56.

if you check a current cannondale, (including stack and reach) you will find that a 56 specialized is far too big

btw, i wonder how you get to a 12 cm drop with a 73 cm saddle height with the cannonondale

is that top of saddle to the ground minus top of bar to the ground ?

I was thinking the same, 12 cm of drop seems a lot.

I also have à size 54 Cannondale (CAAD 9) with about 73 cm saddle height and approximately 9 cm of drop (with 1 cm spacer above the cone and -10° 120 mm stem).

The geometry of older and newer Cannondales are similar, for a 54 stack is 54,4 and reach is 38,4.

So a 56 Specialized is too big, you can take either 54 or 52 if you need a lot of drop.

You can observe my position on a 56 frame. Very similar saddle height with yours, and 56 frame feels big to me.
