Road.cc mention that it's Spirit tubing:

There's a stainless steel Acciaio too, though not with the 'Super' details like a tapered headtube.

Someone tore past me on their Super Acciaio the other day. Great looking bike.

The pictures show that the frame is made of
TT is AW
DT is AZ
ST is standard
and I've some doubts about seatstay and chainstay. Seat stay looks like AJ profile.

This old Spirit has ver thin walls - 0,38.
Previous version off SA was more oval tubes. Then they said that this is the best shape. I guess now they will say the same thing.

Is it really a new version is better than the previous one?

and one interesting thing...warranty:

Condor - 3 years
Enigma - 10
independent fabrication...lifetime/5-year warranty on materials
Waterford - Waterford Precision Cycles, Inc. ("Waterford") warrants to the original retail owner against all defects in material or workmanship for Waterford Framesets sold by Waterford or through its authorized dealers without a time limit. :)

That Enigma is some sweet looking huh? It might just be an illusion, but that downtube looks massive!!
And yeah. Generally companies that build their own products in house, are able to offer longer warranties.

Loving the enigma elite, but with a 55 cm top tube the head tube is only 12.5 cm!! Surely everybody will need a number of spacers, which would ruin the aesthetics. Why didn't they match it with a 14 cm head tube.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Is there an upcharge for custom geometry? And with these head tubes being machined, are you stuck choosing between 125mm and 155mm or can you pick something in between? Other than that one small gripe, it looks like a serious contender in the steel frame market.

agree with you...better geo has Super Acciaio ...for me:) but I don't know if you can't order frame with custom geo. New Elite is very customizable, but for sure about geo you have to contact with Mark.
I know that's possible to change fork to for example enve:)

The geometry on the Enigma seems to be too gapped. However, in the past they have always done custom geometry. Best to get in touch with Mark Reilly; he's quit easy to deal with. I've had two frames from him and both were custom geo.

I've got a veeeeery similar steed...Rauler-built Deda XL tube set with a tapered fork and press fit BB:

LOVE the bike...oversized steel is awesome for guys over 160 lbs.
Gave the bike to my buddy Eryn to ride after he broke his Merida and he has also been super-happy on her.

Best,
Cip / Mike
