Used to run Ralph 29x2.1 front and rear, and switched front to 2.25 Ron... like the change. I feel like the Ron tracks better in loose and sandy conditions, and just gave me more confidence.

For my conditions, I run a RRon on the rear and a RRalph up front. I have a lot of granite to ride over and the Ron in the rear just eat's it up and never loses contact with the ground. A perfect combo for me.

Ron front Ralph rear is a very popular and common combo, obviously as it gets gloopier you may need something more aggresive on the back!

I am looking at 27.5 options.
I always ran a 2.35 Ron up front for 26"- they don't make them for 27.5.
Will I want a 2.25 Ron up front or something larger like a 2.35 Nobby Nic?

Run the nobby nic 2.25 up front and RR 2.25 rear - best combo (although i still like Maxxis ardent upfront in winter), I tried the rocket ron and just did not work on NE trails.
