Hello,
I am in the process of building a BH ultralight. I want to replace the FSA headset with an Extralite Taperhead. It comes in 2 versions the Taperhead 1 and Taperhead 2. Which one does the BH Ultralight accept? I cannot find anything on BH's website.
Taperhead 1: ZS42/28.6 | IS52/40
or
Taperhead 2: ZS44/28.6 | ZS55/40
Thanks!

Google "bh ultralight headset" and click on the first link.
From BH's website:
"All BH models use an 1 1/8th Campy integrated standard top assembly. The lowers are 1 1/8th Campy integrated on the GC Aero, Speedrom, and Zaphire. The lowers on all the remaining models use a standard 1.5 integrated bearing: 1/8 cartridge bearing G.W. 41x30.15 45 deg x 45 deg or 1.5 cartridge bearing ACB 36 deg x 45 deg."
I am still confused to which Extralite taperhead model will work. Taperhead 1 or Taperhead 2.
Thanks

It appears neither will fit. Taperhead 1 is a zero stack upper and integrated lower. Taperhead 2 is a zero stack upper and lower. Zero stack is another name for press fit. It uses cups that hold the bearings in place. According to the link provided by HakeemT your headset is integrated top and bottom.
Looking at the Extralite site, there is an option, UltraTop + UltraBottom -
UltraTop 41-42 HD 41 or 42mm IS42/28.6 or IS41/28.6 22g Integrated - Top
UltraBottom 51-52 51 or 52mm IS51/40 or IS52/40 25.3g Integrated - Bottom
Downside is that it's "coming soon".

That was the information I was looking for. I was just about to purchase the wrong Headset. I will wait for the Taperhead 3.
Thanks!
