A shame, but not entirely unexpected given the time it's already taken to develop

I do not see why one of the major bike brands do not buy the design. Specialized has their high end cranks, Cannondale has their high end cranks, Look has their high end cranks, Cervelo looks to be locked in with Rotor so maybe there is someone that would like to have a high end crank but also the resources to take over such a product.

That's a real shame, I'd have bought a pair.

So would I. The principle is very sound and if someone BIG picked it up they could use these on their complete line of productions. Just change out the spider and away you go. Could be very very nice.

That is a shame, I really hoped some they would be produced, still love to have those cranks (also without certify).
Had long unspoken hope for them to be picked up by Cannondale, as they did with coda, also being an American company...

It sounds like someone will pick it up; Fairwheel Bikes perhaps (based on madcow's last post in that link)?

Too bad. I'm left wondering if the unavailable resources Kirk refers to are engineering resources or business resources.
