Cross brake set up?

Hi. im new to this cross lark...!

how the hell do you set up cross levers, just bought some, and have not go a clue!

pics would be good!

The outer casing runs from the original lever (ergo/sti etc) to the back of the new CX lever (the side without the barrel adjuster). Then another piece of outer continues from the CX lever (barrel adjuster side) down to you caliper.

The inner runs from your original lever through the first outer between the two levers, then through the CX lever, out the other side and into the secound piece of outer and down to your caliper in the normal way.

All the new lever does is interupt the outer casing, the inner just goes through as normal.

The way it works is by efectively making the outer casing longer by opening the gap between the two pieces on each side of the lever. Which has the same effect as pulling the inner cable the way a normal lever works.
