It is a shame, and unlike campag you can't use the older shiny version on current groupsets. I still have a brand new set of shiny record hubs in the cupboard.Tinea Pedis wrote:No more silver hubs.

I'm also building a new 11-speed wheel set using the new DA9000 24-hole rear hub and Stan's Alpha 340 rim. I would like to build it using 3-cross on the drive side and radial on the non-drive side but having difficulty calculating the spoke lengths. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Pretty sure you can't build 3x on a 24 holed hub.

Why is that ? Are the spoke going to cross spoke heads of other spokes ?
Generally speaking, that's one reason and the other is avoid extreme angles entering the rim.
Many more experienced wheel builders than I on this forum could provide a more precise answer...

9000 Freehub :
Spoke Holes PCD : 44 mm (Non drive side) / 45 mm (drive side)
Flange distance : 56.9 mm
Flange distance 28 holes : 56.5 mm
Dish : 9.75 mm
Dish 28 holes : 9.95 mm
9000 Front hub :
Spoke Holes PCD : 38 mm
Flange distance : 74.0 mm
Does anyone know the spoke hole diameter on the front and rear hubs? I read an article suggesting narrow spoke holes such that a Sapim CX-Ray spoke wouldn't fit but this sounds hard to believe.
