Thanks Geoff.

The more I ride this thing, the more I fall in love with it!

I did a 'regular' 65mi training loop yesterday.
Knocked 15 minutes off my time and added 1.5mph to my average speed!

19.9mph and 3h16m

Incredible speed from this thing!

Couple of tweaks.

Raised the seat 10mm.
Swiss stop yellow pads.

Other than that, I've been riding and enjoying it.

Started crit racing too a few weeks ago.

I only started riding road in January.
Start out as a 4th cat.

2nd in my first race.
Win in my second race! Straight up to 3rd cat!
5th in my first 3rd cat race.....

Happy :)

May be ordering a P2M soon depending on house sale.

Power 2 max idea has been sidelined.

I've been picked up by a local online based bike shop with a bit of sponsorship.

My last 2 races I got 2nd and 3rd. So I'm only 3 points away from moving up to 2nd Cat already!

Anyway, said shop deals powertap.
New G3 hubs, at a steal!

I'm going to sell my P-SLR1 training rims and have a custom set of training wheels built with a powertap. And also have my rear 303 rebuilt with a powertap too.

So for the price of one crank based system, I can have two sets of wheels with power, easily interchanged.

Result.

Big crash last week...

Front 303 has a whole lot of trashed spokes. Hopefully good to be rebuilt.
While it's in, the rear is having the G3 built in to it.

Frame suffered no damage thankfully :)

Awesome bike! I just purchased a similar one, the 2012 frameset. I am currently fitting it with an Ultegra 6800 gruppo and Reynolds FortySix clinchers. Really looking forward to trying it out:-). Just out of curiosity, what frame size is yours?

Cheers:-)

I recently went to 2013 Advanced SL0 as Giant in Australia were selling them with DA 9000 and PSL0 wheels (DT Swiss) for under $4000.
Light, stiff and responsive!

Just need the adapter freehub to run 11 speed on my Reynolds carbons.

Year, but luckily with Reynolds all you need is an adapter free hub. No need for re-dishing as with fx Zipp:-)

Mines an M/L
I alsor run a defy in L.

Much prefer the responsiveness of this one though.

I run 10spd 7900 on this and 6700 on my defy so the wheels and powertap(s) I have are interchangeable easily.

Just got my wheels back from the bike store yesterday - you were right superpippo - no dishing!

Here she is on her Reynolds - love this bike.

Why are these sharing one thread with two bikes/users. They're both excellent, start one for the Reynolds/9000 one.

Nothing much to report here.

Swapped the stem out for a 110mm Giant connect with Ti hardware and fitted some elite stealth matt black cages.
Just the steerer to cut soon and hopefully fit a low profile headset top cap.

Not sure of exact weights of this build, but I did a rough measurement (me on bathroom scales plus bike) and it came out at around 7kg with the zipps w/powertap, cages, and barfly mount.

Light enough for me :)

She also endured her first race last weekend in the local crit.
4th place from a field of 80, performed flawlessly.
