I'm finally ready to show you my new bike. The old Scott Addict served me about a year after it was completed. This bike is heavier, but gives as much riding pleasure.

Image

Parts break down:

Frame, fork and seatpost: Isaac
Group: Sram Red 2011, front mech, brakes are 2012
Bar and stem: 3T PRO. classic shape bar
Tape: Lizzard Skins 3.2mm
Saddle: AX Lightness Endurance
Bottle cages: Tune Uni
Wheels: extreme poseur 88mm clinchers

The wheels are pretty nice for where i live. These things will not accompany me in any hills or mountains.

Overall the bike rides very predictable. Steering is precise and stiff. I hope to enjoy this bike for a few years to come.

Thanks guys!

I'm definitely looking too keep riding the 130+ k rides on the weekends. In a few weeks i'll spend my vacation at the Garda lake. Then i will be using my more sensible 32 spoke RAR wheels.

Better pics are coming up soon!

Damn Frankie, dem wheels!

Do like it. Especially as I've only ever seen one Isaac (track bike) in Australia.

Great ride, guessing the 55.5/56 version? On my 2nd pre-bankrupt 55.5 Sonic which I think is the same mold as the Proton. Love the geometry. Wouldn't call the ride quality refined, but it's definitely sprightly, does the Proton roll a bit smoother maybe?

Thanks guys,

The frame is a 58. I guess the wheels make it look smaller.
I'd rate the comfort of the frame higher than that of the Addict i had before.

looks great-nevertheless i would love to see pictures with lower wheelset, i think 32-50 would go perfect with the frame!
best regards,

Looks great.

I only see Isaac's occasionally where I live and always wanted to try one.

The deep wheels look great :!:

Krull, I had 303's in the frame as well. They are some good wheels. The 88's take things over the top, but i like how they perform.

Carbon2329 thanks.

Frankie,

Nice bike. It's good to see a bike based on Isaac Newton's ideas on gravity and mechanics, combined with his famous laws of physics, as the foundation for its design. But if you really want to improve your performance, you really ought to consider the Albert Warp, which is based on Einstein's theory of general relativity.

much better pictures, very nice!
@hammer time: all right, but dont forget the power of "principia mathematica", its rules provide the basis for the building of isaac-frames and make those frames as good as unconquerable.....ähhh,...... even when challenging the elements, or so..
